prnoct90 on Animesuki saw the movie and was able to give a quick run through of it. Sadly, there wasn't much to talk about.

"Lovely new opening animation, a little over 1 minute + 1 minute of review of first 2 OVAs + episode 7-9 strung together + 30 seconds of new animation.

Yup, that's it. In case your wondering, the new opening animation is Yumemi in her home with her family. She walks outside, and the ground starts to fall apart her other two friends fall away from her screaming and she falls to, but then Yumemi appears in Munto's arms where the 3rd OVA starts.

The animation at the end is Yumemi and her two friends lying on a hill, they laugh, and Yumemi looks behind her and sees Munto.

Wow. I have to say I am really disappointed. -_- I was hoping for at least 10 minutes worth of new footage and maybe some plot development at places where the anime hadn't touched on. I hate to say it but with this last straw, I officially feel trolled by KyoAni.

Well, that's cool. But I kinda wish they'd just released this movie instead of going the whole "series" route... I wouldn't call it trolling, but I would call it a bit silly. :|

I wish they had avoided the whole anime release and just did it as an OVA. It makes the whole thing more compact, not to mention they wouldn't be playing around with the fans expectations so much.

It was strange,but long ago,when I heard this news,I wanted to look at the old poster for the 3 movie.

Looking at it,I suddenly got the thought and feeling that this was going to become a really bad movie!
I did'nt want to belive that it was true!

But it seems it had...really crashed into trash.(That rimmed)

i even don't know what to say, but at least it has new animation. and the part where Munto suddenly appears seems very interesting. ^^ there must be a reason why KyoAni only did this movie like this. there's always always a reason for everything. ^_______^

I donno. At this point I'm more inclined to believe that KyoAni is simply shifting their focus to their adaptive works and have pretty much given up on their original production. Granted the ending to the third OVA still leaves things open, but with the way the ending showing everyone pretty much going on with their lives happily the studio can just as easily end the story there.

Call my cynical and pessimistic, but the anime really ruined my expectation for this title and it's gonna take a lot from KyoAni to get me to feel vamped up about the series again. :\

hmm, I really wish we could see that last scene.

I mean, do they show her expression when she sees Munto? I'd love to see the reaction.

Maybe KyoAni is setting up for another OAV. If they are, which I kind of doubt, it's going to be probably an even longer wait then we've had in the past.
